How Recycled Plastic Door Knobs Are Made

Here you can see us fulfilling an order for some of our recycled plastic door knobs, which are a really nice way to bring a little bit of eco-friendly colour to a plain old set of drawers. The ones you can see us making here are in our ’Smoke on the Water’ colourway, which is made up of white, black and clear polypropylene - which we mainly source from old DVD and video game cases. There is a little bit of post-processing needed on these once they’ve been injected and snipped. So once done, we throw them onto our pillar drill (being sure to save all the waste) and screw in some threaded inserts. Then we box them up with their 6mm bolt and they’re ready to go! If you fancy a set for yourself, you can grab them from 🤙🏼 🚪
