As far as the public are aware not a single member of the Met’ or indeed anyone from Scotland Yard deemed it necessary to question Mountbatten. Did they literally “get away with murder“? The closest we’ll ever come to finding out would be from the services involved. That a then MI5 agent, now retired, is willing to publicly make these claims is cutting it pretty quick to the bone. she ought to keep a low profile lest she also “stumbles and falls“. Because in all sincerity, what would happen if she did die mysteriously? Nothing.
