High Intensity Tennis Point Play Against 12.5 UTR (USTA 5.5), Division 1 Men’s Tennis

Ground stroke without a serve focuses on mastering point play and mimics what happens in the real match when you both agree to hit the first ball cross court. This type of game is always present on every one of my training sessions and i highly recommend adding it to your sequence right after a warmup. Dominick is a big hitter so when playing against him i have to remember not to stay in crosscourt rally on the forehand side for too long as its his main strength, however i love staying in the backhand cross court rally with him. Also when playing against big hitters, it’s important to move them around and not let hit too many neutral balls. Notice how im playing defense here by giving a high topspin ball that lands deeps in the middle because against Dominick specifically if i start defending by high topspin too much cross court, he is very good in hitting the down the line shot. #tennis #highintensity #intensity #pointplay #tiebreak
