Texas In July‘s plans to release a new EP titled “Without Reason” later this year have just been announced. That five-song outing will serve as the first proper output from the PA metalcore outfit in roughly nine years. Equal Vision will be putting out the EP, which the band crafted with the production team of Carson Slovak and Grant McFarland at Atrium Audio in Lancaster, PA. A November 17th release date has been slated with pre-orders now available trough A music video for the second single, “Put To Death“, has just launched online. Bassist Ben Witkowski commented of that track: “‘Put To Death‘ is in its own world. It’s darker and faster and was written differently than the rest of the songs on the EP. It is relentless and in your face, with a wild black metal-sounding chorus – hearing a range from JT that has never been recorded and the fastest double bass Adam has ever tracked. It’s an uncanny change of pace that we all love.
