Overwatch 2 monetisation and progression feels at best comparatively unrewarding, at worse just very rapacious towards new here’s a song about it :D It feels like we’re at a bit of a cross-roads - either this is normalised and how the future of Overwatch 2 (and the wider games industry) continues. Vote with your wallets! To be clear - don’t hate developers, or people organising/creators doing giveaways (although ideally if people go from hating prices to doing giveaways, some explanation might be good :)). HAPPY to pay for some things to help support the game continuing and the developers, but dislike the current monetisation methods decisions from on-high - and if you don’t like it, don’t buy the skins!
