Chinese tech giant to introduce driverless ride-hailing services in Beijing

For more: Starting May 2, customers needing a lift within Beijing’s Shougang Industrial Park can book one of Baidu’s driverless robotaxis, the Chinese tech giant said on Thursday. Within a fenced area of the park, one of the venues for the 2022 Winter Olympics, customers can use the Apollo Go app to call a robotaxi without a safety driver behind the wheel.
