Grandiose Long March-3B blasts off from verdant hillside, puts Gaofen-13 (02) satellite in orbit

BOOM! Majestic Long March 3B lifted off from Xichang at 0833 UTC today, sending the optical Gaofen-13 (02) satellite into geosynchronous transfer orbit. At 16:33 Beijing time on March 17, 2023, China successfully launched Gaofen 13th 02 satellite using the Long March 3B carrier rocket at the Xichang Satellite Launch Center.
