Phil Rogers (1951-2020) A Celebration Exhibition | GOLDMARK

Phil Rogers | Memorial Exhibition Exhibition pots will be added to the website on Saturday 27th November at 10 am. Special exhibition monograph with essays and tributes will also be available. This November sees the opening of Goldmark’s Phil Rogers Memorial Exhibition. The 200 pots in the show have been selected from his last firings. Phil Rogers was the very first potter that Goldmark exhibited, back in November 2005. He was instrumental in the development of the gallery’s internationally renowned ceramics side and remained an important and valued friend of the gallery. Rogers, who died late last year after a short illness, was one of Britain’s leading potters and advocates for his craft. His work is internationally respected and examples are held in the collections of more than 50 museums worldwide, including the V&A, the British Museum, the National Museum of Wales, the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia, and the Museum of Modern Ceramic Art in Mino, Japan.
