“Hello, I Love You”

Jim wrote the lyrics to “Hello, I Love You” after seeing a beautiful woman walking on the boardwalk of Venice Beach in 1965. However, The Doors struggled with the song arrangement, so the track wasn’t released until three years later for their album WAITING FOR THE SUN.
