love is a bird, she needs to fly [ares/aphrodite]

Sort of re-upload/re-edit of a previous video, the heart of it is still the same, however. There was no way I wasn’t going to put this one back up on my channel, it may be shitty but it’s my shit :D So I didn’t expect this do well the first time around because I felt like it’d look like nonsense to anyone who wasn’t me but it actually got a lot of nice comments! But I guess it’s an aesthetic video of sorts? Perhaps. It’s not meant to be a direct fancast or crossover, hence different actors/actresses all interacting with each other. - consider all the women in the fanvideo to represent Aphrodite, and all the men Ares and it’ll be less complicated :D But it’s sort of a meta video about their dynamic. Ares and Aphrodite represent (and are in their purest form) men and women, war and love, bloodshed and lust and this video is kind of a deconstruction of all those things, mostly the man/woman aspect of them and how they relate to one another. It’s also littered with references to them and certain myths, e/g vultures and snakes are a symbol of Ares, “You’re a half a man“ Ares was called a coward by Athena, “what kind of monster would we create?“ in reference to their devil babies Deimos and Phobos, incarnations of pure terror and dread. Oh also the Ares quotes e.g “has your nature had enough bloodshed!“ come from George O’Conner’s very clever and well-researched comic series on Greek Mythology. I highly recommend them and I don’t like comics. Colouring: xXWhisperOfDreamsXx Couple: Ares/Aphrodite #fanvidfeed #greekmythology #viddingisart
