Israeli airstrike hits ambulance convoy in Gaza

The Israel Defence Forces have confirmed they carried out an airstrike on an ambulance outside Gaza’s biggest hospital, al-Shifa, in northern Gaza. The IDF said the ambulance was being used by Hamas, adding that ’a number of Hamas terrorist operatives’ were killed. The Hamas government said ’several citizens were killed and dozens wounded’ when the strike hit a convoy it said was evacuating severely injured patients towards the Rafah crossing.
