More precisely, the languages, as there is more than one Sámi language. Sámi is spoken in an extreme landscape of Northern Norway, Sweden, Finland, and the Kola peninsula in Russia. It is a part of the big Uralic language family, but it also has a lot of unique features, which stem from the region’s deepest past.
