In this tutorial I will show you how to add custom stencils to your 3D models in Blender!
This will allow you to add your own logos, text or images onto your 3D models 🙂
In Part 1 (this part), we covered how to add stencils to models with no materials or with simple materials. These materials do not contain any image textures. This makes it easy to add your own image textures to them that we can then paint stencils onto.
In Part 2 we will cover how to add stencils to 3D models that have image textures as part of their materials. This requires setting up separate UV maps and additional textures. You will then learn how to blend these additional overlay textures on top of existing materials using the Shader Editor.
