Furious Russian women protest against Putin for mobilised men’ war horrors

ANGRY Russian women are stepping up protests against Vladimir Putin’s war - demanding he returns forcibly mobilised men, and revealing how refusenik soldiers are forced to strip naked and pay huge bribes to commanders to be released. A rare protest on Saturday (18 November) taunted police for failing to rise up against the freeing and pardoning of mass murderers and rapists who have served six months at the front - while regular conscripts are forced to stay in their trenches until the end of the war. Amid signs of increasing public fury over the horrors of the war against Ukraine, one woman warned: “Putin is spitting in your face.” She told officers patrolling the protest in Khabarovsk the dictator was releasing killers who had been jailed, while locking up thousands of protesters and political prisoners.
