Architizer - Project of the Year 2018 - Institute for Contemporary Art/Steven Holl Architects

In historic Richmond, VA, at a busy street corner in downtown, Steven Holl Architects has constructed a zinc-clad museum placed in contrast to the conservative, red-brick buildings around it. The Institute of Contemporary Art for Virginia Commonwealth University is a radical new landmark for the city and has been named a winner of one of four Project of the Year awards as part of the 2018 A Awards.
