WHAT DOES A TUBE EQ SOUND LIKE? | Acustica Cobalt 2 | London Acoustics Verona | Tone Empire Black Q2

WHAT DOES A TUBE EQ SOUND LIKE? TUBE EQ PLUGIN SHOOTOUT || ACUSTICA AUDIO COBALT 2 vs LONDON ACOUSTICS VERONA v TONE EMPIRE BLACK Q v2 This week on Mixing Wednesday we are discussing ’what does a tube eq sound like and can we recreate a tube sound in audio plugins / music production sofware?’ Acustica audio plugins are back in the mix as they have recently upgraded their acustica cobalt plugin that has closely sampled the LM9736 which was hand built by hardware designer Luca Martegani (aka Zelius). We are also making a plugin comparison of 2 other tube equalizers in the form of London Acoustics Verona tube console eq (nebula 4) and tone empire Black q2. We will be comparing examples of kick, snare, overheads, bass guitar and electric guitar. The mixes will be compared via the free plugin version of HOFA blind test. 🌠SUPPORT THE CHANNEL 🏷️ PRODUCT LINKS 🎶 FOLLOW MY DEBUT ALBUM JOURNEY 🎤 RELEASING A SONG?
