The Stir in Kamloops provides facility rentals, business mentorship and support to help local food entrepreneurs reach a wider market. The hub includes a full-scale food processing facility, The Stir Kitchen, specializing in canning and dehydration. It offers specialty food processing and packaging equipment, a full commercial kitchen, dry and cold storage, warehouse space, a retail store, and a pop-up event space. The Stir also supports the Gardengate Training Centre with a state-of-the-art commercial kitchen and the Kweseltken Kitchen, a mobile food processing trailer that services rural indigenous communities.
