New gorilla baby born at Jersey Zoo

We are THRILLED to announce the birth of a beautiful baby gorilla at Jersey Zoo!! The new arrival was born in the early hours of Friday 15th November to mum Bahasha and silverback Badongo. The keepers say mum and baby are doing very well, but we do not currently know whether the baby is a girl or a boy. We certainly couldn’t have topped off our 60th anniversary and a wonderful year celebrating gorillas in a more perfect way!
