Duo Sempre - Cariñoso by P. Delgado

We’re pleased to present you a very touching and tender piece by Pedro Delgado, which inspired us to make this video. We discovered this beautiful piece by chance while listening to the car radio. It sounded so familiar and yet so new for us. Those smooth melodies and rich chords fascinated us so much that we had to play it. We couldn’t find a lot of information about the composer Delgado, but we were lucky enough to get a quick response from Karin and Peter (Duo Bergerac) who perform this piece beautifully on their CD “Elegie“. We found out that it was actually composed by Peter Ernst himself under the pseudonym Pedro Delgado, and he had dedicated it to Karin Scholz as a birthday present. This reminded us of our own story, since Arsen composed several pieces for Dariya. So, this story is also our own story somehow, and we hope it touches your hearts as it has touched ours! Video by D.
