It features four tracks that bound between pop, techno, and disco with confident strides, and is set to be released on May 5th on STEP. ’Connected’ is the last remnant of lockdown anthems, featuring vocals from Casino’s own Joseph. ’Yeah I know, we’ve been apart for so long.’ A thumping kick and melancholic lyrics are perfectly matched on this emotional floor filler. ’Cannonball’ is an electric disco roller with resonating vocal hits and sweeping arps that feel like a warm hug from the machines of Casino Times. It’s an italo-inspired flex that fits neatly into the duo’s body of work. ’Understand’ takes the EP into deeper territory, with an analog bassline that rumbles in and out of the subconsciousness, broken up by the punch of erratically programmed drum fills.
