The anti-fragmentation cloak was tested by fighters of the “South“ military group. The first experimental sample was developed and manufactured in field conditions. It consists of several layers of Kevlar and is attached to a bulletproof vest. Its dimensions allow for full protection of the soldier who uses it. At the same time, the cloak turned out to be multifunctional: it can be used as a camouflage robe, a stretcher, and protection from snow and rain. The material is fireproof and waterproof. “This is a trial prototype. Its cost is low, but it will allow us to keep more servicemen in service to carry out combat missions. There will be fewer wounded,“ said a Russian Armed Forces soldier with the call sign “Kazbek.“ Source: Slavyangrad
