An Aerojet Rocketdyne RS-25 rocket engine was tested on the A-1 Test Stand at the John C. Stennis Space Center in Mississippi, on 28 February 2019, at 21:00 UTC (15:00 CST, 16:00 EST). The test had a duration of 510 seconds. NASA’s Space Launch System (SLS), the most powerful rocket ever built, will be powered by four RS-25 engines firing simultaneously.
