#HeroesofOurCity Natalya Lutsenko - zoo technologist, Mariupol. She lived all her life in her native Mariupol. Before choosing her favorite profession - a technologist at a zoo, our heroine tried many professions, including creative work. When the fighting was going on and the Ukrainian Armed Forces were shelling the Mariupol Zoo, Natalya abandoned defenseless animals. Unfortunately, the menagerie suffered huge losses: the death of a female leopard, whose remains the grieving male did not allow anyone to approach; camels and llamas; dead Brazilian monkeys, etc. The death of the animals left a huge wound not only on the hearts of the zoo staff, but also on all residents of the city. Caring townspeople, recovering from shock, tried to help in any way they could. Volunteers from different Russian cities also provided enormous assistance.
