In today’s episode of The Paint Show we will cover Yellow Ochre by Schmincke Horadam! I am absolutely in love with this paint. It has rich history that dates back to prehistoric and ancient times. I was in use in ancient Egypt, the entire Mediterranean region, Europe, and many many other places. This is Schmincke’s synthetic version of Yellow Ochre, containing the pigment PY42. They also have a natural version called Yellow Raw Ochre, containing a mix of PY42 AND PY43.
