Here for your viewing pleasure is the 1967 Italian superhero movie “Flashman,“ starring Paul Stevens (of “Seven Minutes To Die“ fame) as the title character. Flashman’s main power is invisibility, which in 1967 was a little tricky to pull off and mostly involved having actors throw themselves against walls, into floors, and jerk their heads after being “slapped.“ While that’s the cheesy part, the fun part is in the film’s plot, as Flashman globe-trots after some killers who got their hands on the same invisibility juice that our hero uses and plan to do some general bad deeds with it (murder, extortion, y’know, the usual bad guy stuff). It all adds up to a fun fumetti film, sourced from its restored DVD release and in an English-dubbed format. Enjoy the flick, and be sure to give it a thumbs-up or comment when you’re done!
