SICILIENNE - Maria Theresia von Paradis

Maria Theresia von Paradis: Sicilienne for Violin and Piano in E flat major This music is written by the female composer Maria Theresia von Paradis (1759-1824). She was an Austrian pianist, singer, composer and pedagogue. When Maria was three years old she became blind for the rest of her life. Still this didn’t keep her of writing her own music and play concerts. She even played in front of the French royal couple Ludwig XVI. and Marie Antoinette as well as in front of Georg III., king of England, and his wife Charlotte. Leopold Mozart, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Joseph Haydn knew her and she also played their works on her tour through Europe. Sicilienne is a very calm and peaceful song that is perfect for studying and concentration, stress relief and sleep. :) violin, direction, sound: Katerina Chatzinikolau piano: Ani Ter-Martirosyan Camera & Postproduction: - Kai-Uwe Hella Makeup & Styling: Maria Nikolic Location: Gelbe Villa Special thanks: At
