The transition from summer to fall brings along beautiful vibrant fall colors and of course apples. I live in a beautiful apple county which is known for its orchards and beautiful harvests. Honestly, I eat apples only in the fall because they are the best in every possible way around this time of the year. I made these delicious, buttery, and flaky apple turnovers using fresh apples and homemade pastry. Apple turnovers made with homemade pastry make it a top-notch pastry because no store-bought pastry brand can give you this kind of flavor and texture as the homemade will.
