(4 Sep 2021) JIMMY PAGE WALKS THE RED CARPET AT ’BECOMING LED ZEPPELIN’ PREMIERE IN VENICE Rock royalty set foot on the Venice Lido Saturday afternoon (4 SEPTEMBER 2021) as iconic guitarist Jimmy Page premiered new documentary “Becoming Led Zeppelin.“ Page posed for photographs with his partner Scarlett Sabet, as well as the film’s director Bernard MacMahon and producer Allison McGourty on the red carpet for the movie, which explores the formation of the ’70s supergroup. MacMahon was granted unparalleled access to the group and their personal archives, using never-before-seen footage to bring Zeppelin’s early years to the screen. It tracks the individual journeys of guitarist Page, singer Robert Plant, bassist John Paul Jones and drummer John Bonham through the music scene of the 1960s before their first rehearsal together in the summer of 1968. “Becoming Led Zeppelin“ is showing out of competition at this year’s Venice International Film Festival.
