Listening for sounds that nobody is hearing and adding other elements no one else can create. It’s this studio secret that allows him to remix songs into unexpected club anthems. Case in point: His work on Cedric Gervais’ 2013 multiplatinum hit remix of Lana Del Rey’s “Summertime Sadness,“ which earned CID his first GRAMMY Award.
