Hospital Kitchen (1953)

Hospital Kitchen for disabled at King’s College Hospital, London. M/S Woman (Miss MacCaul) standing in kitchen with one arm behind her back and placing a loaf of bread and then cutting off a slice, she lifts up the clamp and bread and places it on the shelf. M/S she reaches for a sucker type rubber pad used for gripping plates etc., and demonstrates its use. C/U and M/S She withdraws a table from under the shelf that has holes in it for accommodating bowls and tins etc., She places two bowls into the rack and a tin of sugar. M/S Selecting from a revolving shelf a jar. C/U Placing the jar in its corresponding hole, and unscrewing the cap. she pours some of the contents into a bowl. She removes the lid from the sugar tin then repeats the action, and stirs up the mixture. C/U Woman’s face. M/S. Opening the cupboard with roll type front, and taking out potato pealing instrument. M/S Fixing the pieces together C/U Fitting in the last which has the scraper blade on it and scraping a potato C/U Woman’s face
