10cc ~ I’m Not In Love 1975 Disco Purrfection Version

When my family moved into our very first purchased home in 1967, the first person I met was Renee F, a gentle and friendly soul who lived next door with her soon to be divorced parents. Throughout the years, we got to know each other better. One day in early 1975 she came knocking on my door with the 7 vinyl in her hand to show me. We went back to her place and she put it on and this wonderfully produced music came floating out of those speakers! She just loved this song, how beautiful it sounded and how the sadness of the lyrics made it more beautiful. Every time I hear this, I think of her. My family moved away in 1978 and that was the end of it. She passed on, way too young, some time after that. Recently, I came upon some new material recorded but either edited out of the original or recorded around the same just finished it and see that I have passed the twelve minute well, I just never get tired of hearing this one.
