Strip Quilting with Neckties

Strip quilting is a method of sewing together strips of fabric to form a patchwork design. Since neckties are already conveniently shaped into strips, they are great to use for this simple piecing technique. In this video, learn to sew old neckties into a fancy new striped piece of fabric. In the next video, I’ll show you how to turn transform it into a one-of-a-kind artistic poncho. To make this project, you’ll need 10-15 neckties, a sewing machine, and everything that goes with it.
