Chucho Valdes (organ), Paquito D’Rivera (sax), Carlos Emilio (guitar), Cachao (bass), Enrique Pla (drums). Later four of them (bar Cachao) formed the successful Cuban band Irakere, in 1973. Cachao invented the Mambo but only found fame in the ’90’s. After introductions they play ’Pastilla de menta’. These top Cuban musicians also played in the big band Orquesta Cubana De Música Moderna.
