Russian and Chinese warships conduct fire as part of anti-submarine defence and air defence exercises in Pacific Ocean In the northwestern part of Pacific Ocean, ships of the Russian Navy and the Chinese Navy carried out practical firing exercises during the anti-submarine and air defence exercise. A joint Russian-Chinese ship detachment is currently patrolling in the Asia-Pacific region. According to the patrol plan, the detachment of ships searched for a mock enemy submarine, and trained in chasing it in the designated area. To destroy the mock enemy submarine, the Russian warships used RBU-6000 rocket launchers. During the next episode of the exercise, the crews of the Russian Navy and the Chinese Navy trained to repel the enemy air attack. To repel the missile attack, Russian servicemen launched the Kinzhal anti-aircraft missile systems. The ships also set passive jamming to take the units away from attacks of the mock enemy.
