Petals From “Wildflower“ (1926)

Title reads: “Petals from “Wildflower“ the Musical Play at the Shaftesbury Theatre London“. Men and women dance to the catchy lilt of “Bambolina“. They are dressed in peasant costumes. “Lolita“ and “Cortez“ dance a “Romany Tango“ which is reminiscent of both the Argentine and Apace varieties. The dance is shown in slow motion and incorporates lifts, throws and lots of rough and tumble including a spectacular throwing down of Lolita onto a sofa. Was item in Eve’s Film Review issue 251.
