Successful repair of my Yamaha Clavinova CLP-880

I did some very needed maintenance on my beloved Yamaha Clavinova CLP-880 piano. This piano is over 15 years old. The sustain didn’t work properly due to a faulty pedal cord (internally broken), and the keyboard/keypress noise was excessive due to the felts being old and worn. I used the excellent YouTube video by by GunwharfVideo which showed me how to take apart the piano. The replacement parts were bought from Becketts Music. It took me one afternoon, and the operation was successful. I’m very pleased:)
