Blacksmith Dave Budd shows the process of hand-forging a Bearded Axe and then crafting the handle harvested from his woodland. Filmed on location in his workshop on the Northern edge of Dartmoor. Part 2 shows the crafting of the axe handle from wood harvested from Dave Budd’s woodland, along with the heat treatment and finishing of the Bearded Axe.
