Building a 12 layer electric guitar with Two Trees TS2 Laser This was a prototype of a multi-layer guitar build. I used 3mm thick poplar plywood because it is lightweight and easy to cut. Next time I will probably change the first and last layer for birch to make it harder and more wear resistant. And when I perfect the design I will offer kit bodies that will fit the Stratocaster neck so you can build your own guitar with this 3d effect. I really enjoy experimenting with my guitar builds.
