IRyS - Gravity (Metal Remix)

Another great song from IRyS; she’s been knocking it out of the park with all of these atmospheric ballads. Gravity in particular has a powerful beat behind it, and the lyrics are both relatable and inspiring. It’s not what one would expect to work as a metal song, but I tried to make it happen. I wanted to try Soen’s style again, since a lot of their music has melodic parts that have a similar vibe to this song, combined with syncopated groovy riffs. They also often start heavy and get softer by the end, rather than the other way around, so that was a unique approach that I attempted to do here.
