“Spiral Community“, 1997.
Spiral Community formed in 1997. That November, the group released its first demo, which was self-titled and released at only a few lives. In August of 1998, Spiral Community released its first mini-album “Gin Iro no Rasen (銀色の螺旋)“, which was ultimately a flop in the visual underground and can be difficult to obtain a copy of today as a result. The group pressed onward, however, and eventually obtained a second guitarist, Shiko, in early 1999. As a four-piece, Spiral Community released a few more demos throughout 1999 and toured extensively throughout the year, but eventually ended up disbanding in 2000. Shiko temporarily retired from the visual scene, but returned in 2001 as a member of the indies group Ready, which he was active in until it eventually split as well in 2003. After Ready split in 2003, Shiko then retired from the visual scene.
