Hello, this is my first animation. In my work, I depicted the all-consuming fear of time that overwhelms the protagonist. I believe that the theme of fear is dominant in the album The Dark Side of The Moon. This emotion seems to make up half the essence of every emotion we experience. From birth, humans struggle with fear, whether it be fear of the future, death, or time. Fear governs our lives, weighs on people, and destroys them. The most obvious fear in my life is the fear of time, which is why I chose this song for my animation. We cannot enjoy life, pursue our passions, while constantly thinking about the time we have spent. Because of this, we waste time on pessimism and escape. The fear of time is inseparable from the fear of death. All our actions become meaningless when our minds build a temple of fear of time and death. The protagonist of my animation goes through a long journey. Fear pursues him, making him run. The hero cannot pursue his goals, feeling out of place in society. But at the end of my work, I give the hero a chance for freedom from fear. Yes, undoubtedly, the passage of time cannot be stopped, but we can avoid regretting missed opportunities. The cathedral with stained glass with death symbols represents the fear of time, which is destroyed at the end of the animation. Ironically, I did not have enough time to complete this animation. But I understand that this experience has given me an opportunity to realize myself as an animator in the future. I am grateful for the chance to deeply analyze the album The Dark Side of The Moon and to confront the horror of time. Each animation frame is drawn by hand.
