Reshelling a Sony PSP 2000 Slim Full Disassembly & Rebuild 2020

This PSP 2001 Metallic Blue has suffered a broken battery door latch which no longer allows the door to lock closed. This is an issue most commonly seen on the metallic blue model. Today we’re going to replace the shell with a premium yellow replacement version. We reserved some of the original metallic blue parts which not only contributed cosmetic flare but it also reminds us where this console original came from.
