The explosion is so strong that the tank’s turret flies many meters into the air. The turret of a Russian tank, together with a cannon, weighs about 2 tons. But it flies up like an empty beer can. Imagine how powerful this explosion is. Falling back to the asphalt, the tank turret crashes into it like in butter. What happens to Russian tanks, and why do they explode like that? I spent time and found out that such explosions happen for two reasons. First, Russian tanks have several vulnerabilities in their design. Secondly, this happens when they are properly exposed to the target weapon.
