Al-Qaeda leader in Syria speaks to Al Jazeera

The leader of Jabhat al-Nusra, al-Qaeda’s branch in Syria, has described the Geneva peace conference as a farce.   He also warned that the Western-backed Syrian National Coalition does not represent the people and has no presence on the ground.   Abu Mohammed al-Joulani was speaking to Al Jazeera in his first-ever television interview.   His group wants to turn Syria into an Islamic state.   Al Jazeera’s Omar Al Saleh reports.
