The Rolling Stones - Brown Sugar, 05/01/75, Flatbed Truck on 5th Avenue, NYC

Venue: 5th Avenue, NYC Date: May 1st, 1975 Format: 16mm film, colour, synced with radio broadcast audio and various still photographs This is my attempt at compiling the most complete version of the Stones’ 1975 tour announcement performance. There are a number of versions available on YouTube, but all are either incomplete or only partially synced up to the proper audio. The sources are as follows: -Digital Transfer of raw 16mm footage shot by WNEW-TV -Clips of 16mm footage shot by WCBS-TV (raw footage from this angle was used by the Stones in their ’25x5’ documentary, and I’ve used that superior source when possible) -Radio broadcast audio from WNEW-FM, with hosts Scott Muni & Dave Herman The WNEW-FM audio was slightly better than the native camera audio, so I used it from 0:43 until the end.
