Forging A Nessmuk Knife ~ Damascus San Mai High Carbon Steel Knifemaking Bladesmithing
A classic Nessmuk shape that has proven itself with thousands of outdoorsman, forged in a san mai type construction. The core/edge is high carbon 80CrV2, with a layer of pure nickel on each side, followed by Damascus (pattern welded) steel cladding forged from 1075 and saw mill blade steel.
