NEW YORK — Saturday evening at studded leather once again showed up on the runway, but to very different ends than to where Alexander Wang ventured. Joseph Altuzarra had the “mutual love of dressing” from the 18th century and Truman Capote’s Swans in mind for his Altuzarra Fall / Winter 2015 collection. High collars with fur trim, fluted skirts, and lace-up boots that in many cases rose above the knee gave this collection a sense of occasion, albeit one steeped tradition, but with an eye for the future.
