Artificial intelligence has the potential to impact all areas of life and work in the future. What kind of research are large companies such as Google undertaking in the area of artificial intelligence? What impacts will, for instance, new machine learning systems have on health care or industry? When will computers be able to read and understand a book the way humans do? Jeff Dean, Ph.D., who joined Google in 1999, focuses on such questions - and their answers - in his daily work leading Google Research and Google Health.
On 21 April 2021, 17:30 CEST, Jeff will give a virtual talk at TU Berlin about the newest research findings emerging out of Google Research. These include the future impacts of machine learning on health care, robotics, speech comprehension, and the development of new tools for science. He will also speak about how machine learning is changing aspects of computer hardware and software systems, and share his vision for the future of responsible machine learning models.
