Here in the 16th century Chateau de Lalande in the heart of France, life goes on in spite of the French lockdown. It’s been a crazily dramatic week - I had to make a mad dash from Cambodia, through Bangkok and Dubai, to Nice, in order to make it home to the chateau and to my mother before the borders closed.
