Epic Battle Music Remix - Rome Total War Soundtrack (RTS 2004)

Here’s a remix of all my favourite battle music tracks from the Rome Total War soundtrack. There is plenty of layering and stacking of different tracks going on, so trained ears will have something to look (haha) forward to. This will take you right back into the days of your childhood when your legionaries were struggling to hold the line against the unwashed barbarians of the north. In my opinion Rome Total War has some of the best fight music and battle themes throughout RTS history. Dividing the battle soundtrack into the marching phase, setup phase and fighting phase really emphasized the chaos when the melee finally broke out. The frantic fighting is reflected by the music in a way close to perfection, certainly above many other games of similar genres. Original music composed by Jeff van Dyck. Enjoy!
